The light from the flame of the Butter Lamp symbolizes the wisdom of the awakened mind, dispelling the darkness of delusion and mental obscurations. Butter Lamps are used in nearly every Tibetan temple, household and altar. Butter lamps are placed on one's shrine and traditionally filled with butter or other oils, such as coconut or canola, but one may also use a tea light candle. They are traditionally burned with ghee butter. Butter Lamps are normally made of silver, brass, copper or white metal.
Our Butter Lamps are casted by the master artisans in Nepal according to exact tradition specification using the ancient techniques. Butter Lamps we offer are of high/medium and moderate quality.
We also have wholesale option if you want Butter Lamps in large quantity. Please mail us at info@buddhistcrafts.com for the enquiries for wholesale buyers. |
