Bodhisattva

In Buddhism, a bodhisattva is someone who is actively striving to achieve full enlightenment, also known as Buddhahood. Bodhisattvas differ from others because they possess a deep desire to assist all living beings in overcoming suffering. They choose to postpone their own attainment of Nirvana in order to help others find freedom and peace, rather than hastening towards their own enlightenment. The ideal of the bodhisattva is rooted in the belief that all beings are interconnected and that collaborating for the benefit of everyone is crucial on the path to enlightenment. There are different types of Bodhisattvas:

Green Tara White Tara
Chenrezig Avalokiteshvara
Jambhala Manjushri
