Description

This statue features eleven heads arranged in three rows, which show his awareness of suffering in every direction. The bottom three faces show calm compassion, the middle three demonstrate strength in the face of challenges, and the top three reveal fierce determination to eliminate evil and ignorance. Above these, a blue face signifies immense power, and a small visage of Buddha Amitabha above it indicates his role as a spiritual guide.

Nepalese artisans have crafted this statue with a thousand arms, with each hand representing a unique quality and frequently holding objects such as a wish-fulfilling jewel, lotus, crystal rosary, water pot, or sword. Each object embodies aspects of compassion or wisdom. The eyes on each hand illustrate the link between action and understanding.
