Description
Dorje Phagmo wields a vajra chopper (kartika) in her right hand to cut through illusion and attachment, and holds a skull cup (kapala) filled with eternal wisdom in her left hand. A khatvanga stick leans against her shoulder, indicating the presence of her tantric partner and illustrating that wisdom and method are interconnected. The boar’s head protruding from her own head signifies her ability to see the truth immediately and eliminate ignorance.
Her body is adorned with bone jewelry, jeweled ornaments, and a necklace of severed heads, symbolizing her release from worldly attachments. She is surrounded by a halo of fire, accompanied by Buddha Amitabha, the heavenly teacher of Vajrayogini, and two smaller dakinis at the bottom.
A ritual offering arrangement features jewels, nectar, and sacred objects, representing devotion and spiritual abundance. The background showcases a beautiful Himalayan landscape, reflecting the harmony between nature and enlightenment.
