Description
Each statue in the set is expertly crafted from copper and features an elegant oxidized finish, lending a sense of age and timelessness. The attention to detail honors the wisdom and teachings of Je Tsongkhapa, a revered 14th-century Tibetan master known for his clarity, compassion, and insight. The statues radiate a calm, wise presence—serving as both art and inspiration for daily meditation or reflection.
These statues symbolize wisdom, discipline, and enlightenment. Je Tsongkhapa is depicted in the Vajra posture, with his right hand in the Teaching Mudra raised at his chest, symbolizing the sharing of wisdom. His left hand holds a begging bowl in the meditation gesture, representing renunciation. Gyaltsab Je, standing to the left, respectfully holds a Dharma text that signifies his commitment to preserving the Gelug tradition. Khedrup Je, seated on the right, gazes toward Tsongkhapa. He holds a lotus and a manuscript, reflecting his deep understanding of Buddhist philosophy.
The statues also feature a flaming sword (Khanda) and a lotus with the Prajnaparamita Sutra, symbolizing ultimate wisdom. Together, these figures embody the three essential aspects of Buddhist practice: insight (Prajna), ethics (Shila), and meditation (Samadhi), which are the guiding principles of the monastic tradition.
