Wheel of Life can be explained using this Thangka. In Tibetan Buddhism, the representation of the wheel of life is made up of four concentric rings, with the exception of the area that is the most distant and contains either the devil or the mara. The causes and conditions that cause sentient creatures from the three worlds (the realm of desire, the realm of form, and the realm of formlessness) to rotate through cyclic existence are depicted here, along with the locations and the method in which they revolve. Now, the true cause of all the sufferings and turnings that occur in the samsara is the negative or afflictive feelings that people experience. The Wheel of Life, also known as the “Bhavacakra,” is a powerful meditation tool that is widely used by Buddhist monks. It is also used by students to acquire and comprehend the teachings of the Buddha.
